Under supervision of the Network Systems Administrator, installs, maintains, troubleshoots and upgrades computer hardware, software, personal networks, peripheral equipment and electronic mail systems; provides support to staff.
Installs, assembles and configures computers, monitors, network infrastructure and peripherals such as printers, scanners and related hardware; connects users to networks and provides initial training; administers e-mail and anti-virus systems.
Installs, configures and upgrades operating systems and software; troubleshoots problems with computer systems, including troubleshooting hardware and software, e-mail, network and peripheral equipment problems; makes repairs and corrections where required.
Provides telephone, in-person and online support to staff with regards to software, network connection, and hardware issues.
Maintains day to day systems operations
Maintains listing/inventory of current IT equipment
Some college or Associates Degree and/or specialised training or certification.
One to three years of related experience.
Working knowledge of standard practices and procedures.
Must be able to regularly lift and/or move objects or materials up to 80 lbs.
