  • Overview

    To assist the Assistant Director of ERSEA & Health in entering health data and tracking health dates. Assist with data entry of applicants. Implement a tracking system and tickler file for managing health requirements. Organizing filing and billing paperwork.


    • Responsible for data entry of child health related information (Health, Oral Health, Nutrition, Disabilities, Mental Health) as requested by Health/ERSEA team, Mangers and Coordinators and Assistant Director.
    • Assist with contacting health care providers for necessary health requirements.
    • Responsible for filing disabilities/mental health forms in central office files.
    • Prepare files for transition to school districts at the end of each school year and updates.
    • Creates tracking systems as requested by the Health/ERSEA Team (i.e. overdue requirements or communication with center).
    • Scan child health information and add to Child Plus, as requested.
    • Handle records in a confidential manner.
    • Work with disabilities/mental health team to prepare referral packets.
    • Assist with annual updates to community resource guide.
    • Track progress of referrals.
    • Track disabilities/mental health services provided to enrolled children.
    • Assist with annual updates to Health Procedures Manual.
    • Provide clerical support to Health Team Members as needed. (i.e. filing, copying, note taking, etc.)
    • Assist clerical volunteers as needed.
    • Attend health team meetings and trainings as requested.
    • Present high quality customer service in a professional manner.
    • Responsible for maintaining information for Health Advisory Committee.
    • Assist with monitoring of CACFP paperwork and completion of Height/Weight screenings.



    High School Diploma or equivalent.  Up to one year of related experience. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office.  Ability to work independently and with others.  Ability to develop databases.  Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.  Able to adjust to many interruptions and new situations. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move objects or materials up to 20 pounds.
