The Cook will be responsible for all aspects of food service including: Ordering, securing, preparing, distributing, record-keeping, maintaining supplies and cleaning up for the Head Start program and participants. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Setting up family-style food service for staff and children, planning and/or implementing menus, working with staff to support healthy eating, providing nutrition information to staff and participating families and supporting classroom activities. It is the responsibility of the Cook to continually meet and/or exceed Health Department regulations and CACFP guidelines. The Maintenanice Technician will be responsible for general cleaning, upkeep and maintenance of Head Start facilities, vehicles and premises. Completes SCAN reports as needed.
