Assists with development of training and Technical Assistance plans for the program, and carries out those plans. Makes arrangements for on-site training of staff and additional community partner, including contracts with speakers, locations for meetings, and amenities (audio-visual and technical equipment, refreshments, etc.). Arranges for flights, hotels, transportation and per diems, both for visiting speakers and for staff attending training out of town. Prepares purchase orders and tracks training expenditures. Receives all training evaluation reports and monitors training needs noted. Arranges college classes for staff and GED testing/classes for parents; tracks staff credentials and works closely with Human Resources to assure that employees’ files are current. Manages all logistics for Pre-service and monthly training, coordinating plans with the Assistant Directors and Senior Managers. Arranges for all community training events sponsored by the program, maintains Community List Serve for training needs/ participation, and arranges for CEUs for training.
High School diploma or general equivalency education with secretarial course work.
One to three years of office experience. Requires working knowledge of specialized practices, equipment, and procedures.
Requires moderate interpersonal and communication skills to ensure that customer requests or needs are met.
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move objects or materials up to 20 lbs.
