Looking for a dynamic team player with experience working with volunteers and organizing events large and small to fulfill the role of Communications/Events Coordinator position at Child Start. Must be willing to participate in evening and weekend fund-raising and public relations activities. Work schedule is typically a standard workweek Monday through Friday; however, longer hours including evening and weekends will be necessary during peak event times.
Hours: Negotiable scheduled between 20 and 30 hours/week - DOE
Compensation: $754 - $1,131/biweekly

Supervise the set-up, running, and break down of the event, identifying and resolving problems. Meet with clients to plan event and establish budget. Select event vendors and staff, direct and supervise their work. Plan and manage the logistics of an event., including venue, guests, programs, catering, and marketing. Track event expenses and review accuracy of invoices.
